In April 2022 the University of Medicine and Pharmacy ”Iuliu Hatieganu” Cluj-Napoca received the acceptance of the Endorsement Letter, to adopt and follow the European Union's Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) ( https://euraxess.ec.europa.eu/jobs/hrs4r ), as stipulated in the European Charter for Researchers and Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.
The initial phase of implementation of the strategy was started by the Steering Committee which initiated a large consultation with the all three faculty’s and the two research center’s stakeholders to assess the current status on the application of the 40 principles of the Charter. Relying on the survey results, the appointed working group carried out the GAP analysis, developed the future Action Plan and the OTM-R checklist.
The final documents meaning GAP analysis, OTM-R checklist and Action Plan were verified by the Steering Committee and approved by the IHUMPh's Board of Directors in May 2023. These documents are uploaded on Euraxess website and for the moment are being evaluated.
