« Widening » calls are collaborative or single-beneficiary calls set up for Member states and Associated countries whose R&I performance is lower than that of other European countries.

Romania is considered as a Widening country. This means that research teams based in Romania are eligible to coordinate collaborative actions or are the sole beneficiaries of single-beneficiaries calls.

The objective of these calls is to strengthen the R&I capacities in the Widening countries through collaboration with other countries.

These actions aim at networking, capacity building and the creation and/or strengthening of local research structures.

This webinar has two main objectives :
1/ To inform about the Widening calls for projects
2/ To promote the collaboration between Romania and France in the framework of these calls.
